The Irrigators had a great day on their home course. The Little Moreau Conference meet was full of personal records and high team placing. Both the Newell boys and girls varsity teams placed 2nd as a team. Runners who set new personal records were David Kirby, Malachi Whitacre, Quinlynn Bender, Lucille Ahart, Evelyn Ahart, and McKenzie Rans. The team appreciates all the fans who came and cheered them on. We will be in Rapid City at Hart Ranch on September 27th.

GAME TIME CHANGE!
Thank you, Sergeant Tanner Muckridge, for visiting the 4th-grade class to talk about 9/11 and your time overseas in Afghanistan! The students had the opportunity to see Afghan currency, challenge coins Tanner has received, and photos from his time overseas.

Varsity volleyball played Oelrichs went 3-0. The JV players subbed in and had a chance to try varsity play.
What an amazing day our Newell Irrigators had today at the Belle Fourche Cross Country Meet. This is the most difficult course we do every year and it was hot, but our athletes did amazing. Lucille had a personal record today, Evelyn had a season best, Clint had a season best, David tied his season best, Bethany had a season best today, and Bruno had a personal record today. Next, we have our only home meet at 2:30 PM Friday. Please come and cheer us on. They go even faster when people are cheering them on. I wonder how many personal records we will have next week.
