The high school forensics class staged "crime" scenes. They then went through the steps to record and analyze the crime scene. They put PPE on so they wouldn't "contaminate" the evidence, mapped the scene, gathered evidence.
The parent/student meeting for the spring senior class trip will be held on Monday, Sept. 12th at 5:30 in Mr. Vander Vorst's room. It will be a short meeting to discuss the trip.
The geometry class was using proportions from similar triangles to estimate the height of buildings and objects around campus using their shadows.

Newell School District is looking for a paraprofessional for the 2022-2023 school year. Starting pay for the position is $13 an hour and benefits for the position include 100% paid premium for health insurance throughout the year and 132.5 hours of paid time off for annual leave. There will be a PTO meeting Tuesday, August 30th at 4:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose room. They will be making plans for the chili supper on homecoming Friday, September 30th.

There will be a lot of sports action to night at Newell School. The MSVB team will be playing tonight at 4:30 in MS GYM vs. Harding Co. The MSFB team will be playing at 4:30 vs. Harding Co and the HSVB team will be playing Harding Co at 5:30. Come out and support Irrigator athletics.
Congratulations to the Lady Irrigator volleyball team on winning the Custer invite. They had a great day winning all 5 of their games; four games against class A schools
