Local veteran, Greg Todd paid a visit to Mr. V's US History class today. He spoke about the culture, history, and his firsthand accounts of Vietnam from his time in the service. We look forward to having Greg come back again!

The high seas have never looked more beautiful…or been so smart! We’re sailing through our adventure to earn as many books as possible for our students, and we’re having fun along the way. Today, we announced the winner of the iPad! Congratulations, Ryker Barrera!

Stem Night Reminder!
Next Tuesday, April 18, at 5:30
The Sandford Lab will be presenting as well as the NHS science and CTE students. We will have “hands-on” stations the students can make and take as well as observation of our 3-D printer. We will have math games and activities for you to make and take home to aid in keeping skills up over the summer! Also, the elementary teachers will be available to ask questions about our math curriculum and Mr. Sanderson will be explaining the area model of multiplication. It will be a great evening of learning!

Newell School District will surplus school supplies such as old books and textbooks and a carpet extractor on Tuesday, April 18th. Surplussed items can be located in the multipurpose room from 5:30-7:30 pm and are free to the public.

Newell Board of Education election results from yesterday. Dean Johnson 83 votes, Todd Youngberg 75 votes, and Dustin Braun 64 votes. The top two vote recipients will be sworn in during the July school board meeting.
