Camp Read-A-Loud was a success last Thursday night. We had over 150 participants enjoying books and food. Thank you to everyone that made this event a success for students and their families.

The school calendars that were sent out have the wrong school breakfast, lunch and milk fees.
The fees on the calendar are from 2 years ago.
July 12, 2021 school board meeting the board approved the same fees as last year.
Lunch for adult $4.50; breakfast for adult $2.75 and salad bar is $3.75.
Extra milk for all are $0.50
Second meal for all are $2.00
k-12 student meals for enrolled students are free, however pre-k are as follows:
breakfast $2.00 – lunch $2.75
If a student eat lunch that is not enroll at Newell School – breakfast k-12 - $2.00
Lunch k-5 $2.75 and 6-12 $3.25

The football field Pixellot camera is up and running just in time for tonight's middle school football game at 5:00 vs Harding Co. Log into: www.nfhsnetwork.com and support the Irrigators. You will need to pay a subscription, you may pay either monthly or yearly. The subscription will allow you to watch all Irrigator athletics on the football field, Austin Auditorium or other school who use the Pixellot system. Irrigator Pride

Newell School District is looking for a part-time driver for students in the morning and afternoons. Individual will need a valid South Dakota drivers license, a background check, and be flexible with work times. Starting pay will be $11.00 an hour. Newell School District has surplussed a 2002 Chevy Suburban with 233,610 miles. If you would like to purchase this vehicle, please submit a closed bid to the Newell School District business office by 6:00 pm on Monday September 13th.
