The High School Student Council would like to announce that we are doing the 8 Days of Christmas Spirit starting on December 11th.
We are asking if you are able please bring a canned good to donate to the backpack program each Monday of December. If you can't donate and still want to dress up that is perfectly fine! You can drop off canned goods at either office or Mrs. Muckridge's office.

Come out and support the boys' basketball team during the 3rd annual staff vs boys basketball team fundraiser!
MSGBB vs. Harding Co. tonight will begin at 5:00 NOT 4:30. This is a change to the school calendar.
Traveled to Faith and 7th grade girls came away with 3rd place. 8th grade girls fought hard but came up short. It was a good day of basketball.
Mitch Reed traveled to Newell today to talk with the Newell staff during inservice. Mitch is currently the Superintendent of the Florence School District in Florence, SD. He began his educational career as a high school social studies teacher. He is the author of the book, Cardboard Confessionals, released in 2018.
Since writing his book, Mr. Reed has also delivered his message of support and encouragement as a motivational speaker. He has spoken to various groups such as schools, businesses, health care, agriculture, and the armed forces.
